"History is who we are and why we are the way we are."

Welcome to my website! Students will find a lot of helpful information here including my course policies, rubrics, and tips for writing history papers.
I have been teaching world and U.S. history at West Morris Central since 2002. I earned my bachelor’s degree in history from Rutgers College and my Masters in Social Studies Education from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.
I encourage my students to actively discover history and make their own judgments about the past by analyzing primary source images and documents and evaluating different historical interpretations. Throughout the year, my students can expect to actively participate in debates, discussions, group presentations, and projects.
It is my goal to help my students grow in their appreciation of the importance of history and their understanding of how it has shaped the world in which we live in today.
