Steve Cukar

My name is Steve Cukar and I will be teaching Spanish this year at West Morris Central High School. I am excited to instill my love for the Spanish language and culture to all of you throughout the school year. In addition to teaching, I am the Assistant Varsity Boys Soccer Coach here at Central and am looking forward to an exciting season. Please come out and support the team!

I attended The College of New Jersey where I double majored in Spanish and Special Education. During my junior year, I studied in Alcalá de Henares, which is a city on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain. The experience opened my eyes to all of the benefits and rewarding experiences that come from learning a different language. During my semesters back in the United States, I spent my time outside of the classroom on the soccer field, where I played as a center back on the TCNJ Men’s Soccer Team.

I am a sport fanatic and support the New York Giants, New York Knicks, New Jersey Devils, New York Red Bulls, and Manchester City. Don’t worry, if you support a rival of any of those teams, I won’t hold it against you. Unless of course, you are a Philadelphia Eagles fan… Aside from sports, I enjoy fishing, traveling, antiquing, and watching movies. I am a self-proclaimed movie critic; so feel free to discuss movies with me (in Spanish).

If you need to contact me for any reason throughout the school year send me an email at
