Thank you for visiting my webpage. As a school psychologist I function in various capacities at the high school. In my role as a member of the high school Child Study Team, I evaluate students suspected of learning disabilities as well as case manage a number of students who receive special education services. In addition to my Child Study Team responsibilities I also handle referrals of students who are in crisis and in need of a risk assessment. Additionally I provide counseling services to students as well as consultation to staff and parents. Professionally my interests include promoting resiliency and wellness in our students and the greater West Morris Central community.
I have been certified as a school psychologist since 1987 and licensed for private practice since 1991. Outside of my time at West Morris I enjoy spending time with my family (and dog, Dora), nature, yoga, dance, art, and hiking local trails.
I consider myself to be a resource not only in the building but to the outside community as well. Should you ever have any concerns about your child or if your family is experiencing difficult times, please do not hesitate to give me a call or schedule an appointment to discuss. At that time we can consider what interventions are appropriate and outside referrals as needed.
