The Special Education Department seeks to provide students with both an academically challenging and emotionally supportive environment.  Our ultimate goal is for students to become positive, responsible individuals.

 

Students learn best in the least, restrictive, most appropriate environment.  The entire student body benefits cognitively and socially from the interactions with students of diverse learning styles.  Therefore, we emphasize collaborative teaming, differentiated proficiencies and the use of varied teaching styles to promote student success and independence in the regular education classroom.
